Class of 2013
I grew up in Portage, went to Woodland elementary school, then to West Middle School, Portage Central High School, and finally Grand Valley State University. I was heavily involved in Portage Central’s golf team as I played on both JV and Varsity and really enjoyed my time being coached by Chuck Shira and Jim Lait. During my senior year of high school, I also joined the track team and ran the 100M dash and the 200M dash. Fast forward to college. I lived in Grand Rapids for the four years I attended GVSU and received my bachelors, double majoring in both marketing with an emphasis in sales and finance. After college, I’ve been pursuing sales as a career, and I worked for I.H.S distributing for a year and was offered a sales position at Lamb Weston, where I currently work. I consider myself a people person, and I really enjoy interacting with others as much as I can. As a proud member of this community, I am extremely fortunate and happy to be a part of a group representing Portage Central’s past and future!
